A new generation of trailblazers is set to transform industries. Discover the bold innovators in our Winter 2024 cohort, driving the future of change. We officially launched Pitchworks' Co-Pilot Program in mid-July, beginning our journey as an institutional co-founder for three dynamic startups in the health tech and med tech sectors. This program is not just about guidance; it's about deeply embedding ourselves in the startup journey, working hand-in-hand with founders to transform their ideas into market-ready products, built in India and scaling to the rest of the world.
As institutional co-founders, we are taking an active role in co-building with our startups. We're partnering on the development of a Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool that aims to streamline operations in health tech. We’re also innovating alongside a corporate on a QMS (Quality Management System) SaaS product to address complex regulatory requirements. Additionally, we’re executing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for a mental health brand, ensuring its successful market penetration, and refining a GTM tool specifically designed to empower med tech and health tech companies.
Our role in the Co-Pilot Program goes beyond mentorship—we are fully committed as co-builders, actively contributing to the success of these ventures. From product development to market strategy, we provide the expertise, resources, and strategic direction necessary to accelerate the growth of each startup. Our ultimate mission is to help them navigate critical milestones, ensuring that they are equipped to compete on a global scale.
Apart from our hands-on approach as institutional co-founders, we plan to add value to startups in the following ways:
Startups operating within thriving communities are 3x more likely to succeed, and at Pitchworks Portfolio, we’re building a network of entrepreneurs to harness this power. Here's how we're ensuring collective growth:
Collaborative Transactions: Founders will engage with one another’s healthcare and MedTech products and services. From testing new solutions to exchanging clinical tools or pooling resources, internal transactions will fuel mutual growth, unlocking opportunities for everyone involved.
Cross-promotion: We’ll leverage the power of our community to amplify each brand’s reach. By working together to promote one another’s ventures, startups can tap into new audiences and build trust more effectively.
Resource Sharing: From R&D efforts to clinical trials and co-marketing, resource sharing among our startups will help them push boundaries without bearing the full burden of costs or time constraints individually.
Community Support: Our program isn’t focused on individual wins alone—it’s about creating a supportive, community-driven ecosystem where founders uplift one another, turning success into a shared journey.
Co PR Activity: Joint PR efforts, collaborative events, expos, and webinars are already in the pipeline, ensuring that our collective growth is recognized on a broader stage.
Pitch Sessions: Regular mock pitch sessions and feedback opportunities will help founders refine their pitch before presenting to our LPs, building confidence and clarity for investor success.
In our next blog post, we’ll reveal each of the startup founders and dive into the innovative products they’re building. Stay tuned!
